LAGO's 2nd Plenary Meeting in San Sebastian
The event was held in San Sebastián from March 14th to March 15th, 2023, and was organised by partner VICOMTECH, one of Spain's leading applied research centres specialising in artificial intelligence, visual computing, and interaction.
Two fruitful days in which Project Coordinator successfully blended project status updates, engaging workshops aimed at boosting technical activity implementation, and a boot camp on the requirements and Reference Architecture of the EU data space for FCT research.
Participants had the opportunity to discuss project developments and delve deeper into the LAGO infrastructure, its impact, and applicable solutions. The meeting aimed to encourage discussions about the project's progress and activities related to the main goals, achievements to date, challenges, plans, risks, and harmonisation of the various tools and technologies used in the LAGO project by bringing together consortium members and representatives from law enforcement agencies. The plenary also provided a great chance for networking by planning future meetings and actions.
LAGO (Lessen Data Access and Governance Obstacles) is a two-year project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Innovation Action Programme under Grant Agreement No. 101073951. It aims to provide the foundation for a trusted Research Data Ecosystem (RDE) to address the lack of domain-specific data in sufficient quality and quantity in the FCT research landscape.
