On May 24, 2024, the first LAGO workshop took place in Paris. During the workshop, we launched our initial demonstration campaign, and technical partners showcased some of the research outcomes from LAGO and its sibling projects, STARLIGHT and TRACY, to investigators from the French Gendarmerie and EU LEA representatives.

Participants engaged in discussions about project advancements, including an overview of LAGO's architecture of the Research Data Ecosystem, dataset creation and assessment, and the governance framework. The two demo sessions provided hands-on insights into our innovations.

We appreciate all attendees' collaborative spirit and valuable contributions, and we are excited about the progress made during this workshop. A big thank you to our partner, the French Ministry of Interior, for organising the event. Moving forward, we are committed to continuing our efforts to enhance public safety and counter-terrorism measures through innovative research and strong partnerships.
