LAGO was presented at RISE-SD in Rhodes
LAGO was presented at the Research and Innovation Symposium for European SECURITY and Defense (RISE-SD) in Rhodes, Greece, from May 29–31, 2023.
A three-day EU research and innovation event in the fields of disaster and crisis management, critical infrastructure protection, border security, and defence research, with an audience consisting of high-level EU representatives, governmental representatives, researchers, industry professionals, and practitioners.
More than 200 participants from across the EU attended the event to share their ideas, present their findings, and observe live demonstrations of technological solutions. The event also offered attendees the chance to network and collaborate, fostering the formation of new partnerships and initiatives in the disciplines of security and defence.
On the second day of the conference, our partner ICCS- NTUA presented the LAGO project and some of its findings in the session titled 'A Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) Solution for Synthetically Generated Botnets.'
The results will contribute to the development of more robust and effective cybersecurity measures, which will help in the fight against cybercrime and improve overall cybersecurity for individuals and organisations alike.
