On the 8th and 9th of May, LAGO was represented at the TECNOSEC exhibition in Madrid by our partner, Vicomtech. TECNOSEC is the leading Spanish professional forum for police, intelligence, and security technologies, gathering the main stakeholders in the security and intelligence sectors.

David Ríos, Security Business Manager at Vicomtech, participated in a round table discussion titled "Artificial Intelligence in Security: Process Automation in Crime, Support in Criminology and Forensics, and Handling Large Volumes of Information." This discussion featured representatives from various organisations, providing a platform to showcase LAGO's advancements and contributions.

During the event, Vicomtech highlighted the LAGO project, focusing on its aim to design a governance framework and procedures for a trusted data space and secure data exchange between administrations and countries. The presentation emphasised LAGO's role in advancing secure data sharing technologies and fostering collaboration among European partners.

The exhibition stand allowed us to engage with attendees, including companies and law enforcement agencies, to discuss the development and application of advanced digital technologies based on artificial intelligence. This interaction provided valuable insights into the needs and interests of stakeholders in the security field.
